Changing the Social Impact Game
A social business to regenerate the global economy by unlocking the innate potential in our displaced persons community.
Four billion [economically disadvantaged people] can be the engine of the next round of global trade and prosperity.

Ruth has been on a serious quest for the Truth since the age of 5 when her 32 year old Mother was diagnosed with MS. She left graduate studies in her early twenties, at the New School for Social Research, to return home to care for her, unassisted, 24/7/365. Shortly after 9/11, Ruth’s mother lost the use of her last, slightly functional limb, and courageously lived out the remaining eight years of her life as a quadriplegic.
Nineteen months after her mother's death, she married her husband. Although 35 years her senior, they had led parallel lives. As he had cared for his seriously neurologically impaired wife for almost 30 years. Born only a few months after the start of the Great Depression in the Shenandoah Valley, he joined the US Navy to escape the poverty and hunger and left 27 years later with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a Purple Heart (Korean conflict) and at the highest rank possible for an enlisted man to achieve. He began a successful career as an entrepreneur real estate broker and won a 10 year VA contract to flip their distressed properties selling 5,000 homes in that time period. After 5 years of marriage, he died suddenly on a family vacation. In their short time together, they loved and enjoyed one another as two souls on the same path – being made strong through weakness, successful through failure and healed by their wounds. Three days after her husband’s death, the Spirit of Truth delivered the message that the solution to all the world’s intransigent problems was collaboration.
The search for a vehicle to manifest this Truth lead her to Nobel Peace Prize winner, Muhammad Yunus' game changing social business concept and the birth of Renaissance Solutionz’s Three Ring model. Over the past three years, she has used her assets (real estate, gift of creating networks, visioning) to prove the model on a small scale. Renaissance is now poised to work on a larger stage to shift our current "dualistic way of thinking",with its emphasis on separation, competition and conflict -- to the new way of being based on connection, cooperation and sharing.
